Muling purchase of The Golf Club Game with SkyTrak, need advice

I and my buddy who I play golf with most, wanted to see how we can play courses on SkyTrak. It seems to me that The Golf Club Game is the best option. Although I don't have any PC at home. What are your suggestion, advice on the best simulator to play golf course for multiple player? Many thanks in advance.

I don't think you would be disappointed in any way going with the Skytrak/TGC combination. The selection of courses and gameplay are very impressive as far as I'm concerned. I've had several friends who have played both on our system and some of the $25k systems and they have all said our gameplay is as good or better than the more expensive sytems. The tour is also a ton of fun!

Thanks for the input. I have a Mac Book Pro which is running Windows 7 using Parallel. Would that work? I doubt it would, just checking if anyone running windows as virtual machine. If not, then I will invest on buying a gaming desktop PC.

I don't think you will be disappointed with either but unless you can buy a second hand Skytrak with a valid JNPG subscription then it's no longer an option. I went from JNPG to TGC and never looked back, just preferred the way it looked and played.

I’m happy with e6. I am on a subscription for 1.6 and will re-evaluate TGC 2019 once it launches and next fall once simulator kinks are worked out.

The amount of multiplayer customizations (different tee boxes, game types, etc) are second to none. The physics are fantastic. The e6 software has a demo version available to try before you rent or buy.

Appreciate your input. Couple of questions. When you said "I am on a subscription for 1.6" what does that mean? Secondly, TGC 2019, is that some brand new launch than what they have currently?

halekala TGC2019 will be the new version for sim once it's released We are all anxiously waiting for that day. I guess there may be many feeling under the weather that day.

I pay an annual fee of $299 for the software on top of the Skytrak $99 subscription.

TGC 2019 is the newer software (available on Steam) but not compatible with simulators. It will ultimately replace TGC though I don’t think that the support will diminish in the near term.

I personally did not want to invest in TGC as yet.

Can you play multiple players with E6?

When I used E6 on Skytrak you can play with multiple players. Most of the software you can play with multiplayer. E6 can also have players play from different tees, which is one of the issues with the current version of TGC, you all have to play the same tees. This is supposed to change in TGC2019.
