With the drier air we seem to be getting a lot of static electricity in our bay, and when we move the monitor around it seems to cause it a bit of trouble triggering and missing shots. Anyone else having this problem and a fix? Humidifier?

I had a similar issue in my lower level with low humidity causing static, particularly with the carpet. I spray the carpet periodically with a mix of water and fabric softener, and I have had no issues since. Maybe you could treat your bay this way. Search the web for the ratios and other details.Originally posted by Golf USA Coralville View PostWith the drier air we seem to be getting a lot of static electricity in our bay, and when we move the monitor around it seems to cause it a bit of trouble triggering and missing shots. My golf sim room originally had artificial turf for carpet with a CCE mat for the hitting area. The static was crazy, even with a humidifier. It was the walking around between shots that was creating all the static. I replaced the turf with rubber floor tiles (see link) and have had no issues since then. I still hit off the CCE mat, but no more static.
