  • Feature Request - Customization memory

    Love SkyTrak, thank you.

Can we get some personalization memory?
It seems strange that I have to make these choices every time I start the app
Choose Green every time I open Practice, remember where I was last, or let me choose a default.
Set a target distance starts at 150 every time. Why not let me set a standard for every club?
I'm sure this is just the start of things that people reset each and every time.

Another annoyance is having to reset range settings after upgrading.

We do have a config file that we store to keep your settings and preferences (like yards/meters, handedness, ground and weather conditions, tracer & camera view settings, etc). If that's not working for some of you after an upgrade, then I'll need to dig into it because that was the whole point.

We do store target/green distance settings based on last used. But I'm unsure of how to associate that with a given club. I suppose we could allow for some sort of 'open to' option to allow you to open straight to practice greens though.

After every upgrade I definitely have to go in and update the camera and tracer settings.

FWIW I always like to have Carry Distance as my primary distance setting. Every time I upgrade (either PC or app) this defaults back to Total yardage. I then change it back to Carry distance. If there is a config file managing this it isnt working for me.

I was curious if there's a way to save progress when going through the bag mapping or wedge matrix exercise? I've noticed these take a considerable amount of time and can be exhausting to a certain point and wondered if there was a way to save and finish later.
