If a left handed player is swinging over the top of the machine is it necessary to select left handed for his TGC player profile? I realize it wouldn’t show swing path, etc correctly but since it’s measuring spin I would think ball flight would be correct. We have four 2 Man teams playing a par 3 match and would like to be able to pair a righty and lefty. Can’t do that if I enter him as lefty. Hitting irons only I’m not too concerned with him swinging over the top of the unit. Can anyone confirm whether or not this setup will work?
Lefties....need to change TGC profile?

Skytrak and TGC only measure and use ball data. The ball doesn't know whether it was hit left handed so it doesn't matter. My Courses:

Skytrak does not work that way. If you actually moved the skytrak back and forth, you would need to change the players handedness. Since you are swinging over the top of the unit, you do not change handedness. The skytrak has a laser curtain on both sides of the unit, one for RH and one for LH players.
