Purchase Now with $300 Off or Wait for PGA Convention in late January???

So, the wife and I (I am blessed with a wife who plays) have committed to an enclosure in the garage and a Skytrak.
The question now is do we:
A) Buy now and get the $300 discount; OR
B) Wait until after the January PGA Convention to see if a new 2.0 Skytrack is announced.

?????
What would you do?
I just hit balls outside in 35 degrees. So I can tough it out a little longer . . . but it sure would be nice to get moving toward a complete set up.

Good suggestion, although the used ones don't look to be much cheaper than the new ones $300 off. Used seem to be about $1,500 and new is $1,699.

Buy it. I've never seen them offer it at less than the $300 off. If you wait, you're gonna waste a month of winter that you could be playing indoors. I doubt a skytrak 2 is coming soon anyway and if so I doubt it would be at the same price point as this one, they're not gonna compete against themselves and the skytrak sells very well i assume.

I agree with this have never seen it go lower than the $1700 sale price.

Buy now. I don't think that you'll regret it. No sign that a drastically changed ST is coming out soon.

I say buy now, at Skytrak's price point they don't have a lot of wiggle room for hardware upgrades. At least I like to think so. I can see them updating the wifi chips and maybe the processor. Best results to hope for would be no shot delay, but thats not an issue to me. As far as club head tracking I think they will go the SkyPro RMotion Route. I expect to see some more software integration from them at PGA show.

Thanks guys! I appreciate your input. I'll pull the trigger and hope that the PGA Convention doesn't disclose Skytrak 2.0 with only 1 second delay from strike to displayed shot and improved short game and putting. I know it will come . . . just hopefully a year or so from my purchase. Ha ha ha.

Wait a few days. 30 day return policy and the pga show starts the 22nd. I would order on the 25th so you are comfortably in the return window in case an upgraded model comes out.
