E6 vs WGT Skytrak Reconizing Shots

Why will the Skytrak pick up short chips like 2’ of carry with WGT but will not pick up anything under 15’ of carry on E6? Anyone else have these issues?

Short chips, usually front the fringe or near green rough in E6 are generally ok, occasional misread. I typically use a 52*, 56* wedge to a lesser extent.

I have had issues with a 60* so I don’t use it.
For all chips, wedges and short irons I do place the ball in from of the laser, maybe an inch. No problems.

I’m not sure E6 will patch putting but I don’t putt much on my sim, I used 10ft autos but recently decided to do player decides.

I don’t see this as a material detractor, particularly because everything else to me is A+.

But why will a short chip from the fringe pick it up no problem on WGT? Still a Skytrak...only the program has changed...
