Skytrak Practice Red Tracer

Sometimes when I'm on the practice range, my tracer is red for some shots and white for others. What is the difference if any?

SkyTrak doesn’t yet allow you to change the color of the tracer. When you choose different clubs from the circle at the bottom of the range page, it’ll pick a new color and sequence through what’s available. You can have quite a few colors out there.

Thank you. I thought I had problem with the unit when the line turned red. Obviously I'm just starting out, and I appreciate the help.

I think if you are in practice and trying to hit a green and have it set to a certain yardage say 185 and you select a club like say a 7 iron or even an 8 Iron the red will show when you are short to maybe tell you the club isn't enough of a club ? I have had the red tracer line show up also during practice and select a club you know comes up short
