  • Skytak and TGC for current TGC owners

This question is for anyone that owns ProTee and also owns a Skytrak. I was just told by Skytrak that to interface with TGC I have to purchase it through them, meaning I have to buy software that I already own. Is this correct? How can they even attempt to do this? They claimed this was an agreement they have with ProTee. If that is the case I am shocked that ProTee would agree to this.

For the people that own both, did you purchase a 2nd copy of TGC and/or ProTee Play?

After reading up a little more, I see I can transfer TGC from Skytrak to GC2, from ProTee to GC2, and from all of them to Protee. So the only one requiring a new purchase is SkyTrak? SkyTrak_Seth please help me to understand why this is the case.

Yes you can transfer TGC to/from anything. The only exception is transferring TO Skytrak. The Protee guys are good people and can't recommend them enough. I have owned their full system since 2012. I will be selling my Skytrak and going back to Protee as soon as the new house is finished. Can't come soon enough.

As an example of the difference in service Protee sent me a message from the above post. I even tagged Seth from Skytrak and he responded to all the posts above/below this one and ignored mine.
