SkyTrak and iPad3 issues

Have been using my ST for a couple of months now and consistently have issues with it freezing or dragging so slow it's unusable. It seems to work fine when just hitting on the range screen but not when using the fairway or dogleg fairway features. anyone else have these problems or is it related to using an older iPad? Any fixes so I don't have to buy a new iPad?

Assuming you have a newer phone, just try it on that. Or borrow someone's iPad / Android tablet.

Never had these kinds of issues, but I have a Pixel 2 XL and latest gen iPad.

update: I got a new IPad today and every time i deleted a shot in a range session, the unit freezes. no red light or anything until I exit out of the session and restart a new session. i tried customer support chat and it went nowhere. person (or bot?) kept telling me my ipad wasnt compatible and would not work at all yet it connects and tracks ball flight just fine.
is anyone else encountering an issue with the unit not responding after deleting a shot in a range session?

Yep... same thing happened to me the other day. I’m using a iPhone Xs to connect

Yes, I have the same issues as well at times. It works fine to delete a shot in range mode about 75% of the time, but on the other 25% the red dot will show up and I will hit a shot, but get no results. I have to exit out of the range session and start a new one. I have a brand new iPad Air as well.
