OK, so this might be a little long...helping set up a new sim bay using TGC. Hitting driver no problem, not picking up a single iron shot unless I moved the ball so close that the laser was directly on top of the ball shining directly in my eye! Then it picked up the shot. So I started moving the height the unit. In short I took off the legs of the protective case and then boom! I played 5 holes, 23 swings and only 2 missed shots...acceptable. There is also no overhead lighting in this bay, very dark and I noted that when the unit was a bit higher, there was a lot of reflection from the laser on the hitting mat, when I moved it down not so much. So my two questions. Would some lighting overhead help with this laser reflection off the mat, or is it just the height of the unit that got it working.
