  • ST App won't login using laptop, works fine on iPad

I have issue logging into my account using my laptop.
ST works fine if I use my iPad, that's the first device I started to use. But when I try to use the Wedge Matrix, the iPad is too SLOW. Thus I want to use my laptop.
I have Windows 7 Laptop where I use E6 software. ST connected via USB to the laptop, works fine.
However, when I fire up SkyTrak App on the laptop, I cannot login to my account. It says "Internet is not available".
On the laptop, I can browse the Inet just fine, there is no vpn software running or anything. It's just that ST App thinks it has no connection to the Internet!!!
I can click on "I'll register later" and use it but then I don't get to save all my data.
Another option is that I can try to wire the laptop with an ethernet cable but that does not make sense to me on why ST App thinks it has no connection to the Inet.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Could try downloading the 32-bit version of Skytrak if you are using the 64-bit version, that worked for me to resolve other issues, just throwing it out there.

Interesting indeed. I can try that out tonight. BTW, I called tech support yesterday, they had me change my laptop wifi to 2.4 Ghz as opposed to 5 Ghz. Of course that did not solve the issue. Since my ST is in Network mode and it can only connect to 2.4 Ghz tech support told me that Laptop had to be on 2.4 ghz as well. It did not make any sense cuz it's the App that "THINKS" there is no connection to the Internet, nothing to do with which band the laptop connects to the wifi network.

Did you ever get this figured out? I'm pretty sure I'm having the same issue where I cannot log into the SkyTrak App, either on my phone or computer, but I am able to log in online through SkyGolf360 and look at my stats.

Are you using your email address to logon to the app? If so try using just your username. I used my email for years and it just stopped working the other day, tried with username and it went straight in.

Same here couldn't log in at the weekend, had a few tries and eventually tried username rather than email address - that worked.

Dude, same shit happened to me. I was furious. Then did my username and it worked. So weird.

Using my user name worked for me too. Thanks for that tip!
