Alignment issues just in WGT and Software choice with E6

Just bought a Skytrak a few weeks ago along with NetReturn Pro Series net. I have a small garage with 9 ft ceilings but have managed to find a way to make it work. Biggest issues I am having is alignment with WGT. I ended up buying a self balancing laser and that helped line it up better with the driving range. However, when I switch to WGT play, shots go way left. Nothing changes in the setup and is very frustrating. Looking into going to E6 instead. But then I see that E6 connect is supposed to come out soon with Skytrak compatibility and IOS devices? I would like to wait for that since I have an iPad and MacBook Pro but don't want to wait forever. Don't feel like shelling out $120 for windows in Bootcamp mode if it will be compatible with IOS soon. I have read tons of articles but get confused with all of the different advice sometimes. I played WGT a few years ago. It is very limited. You definitely need to get a full sim software. Sure you could go with E6 Connect but it is very pricey. Big upfront purchase price and then annual subscription price. Then higher subscription price to get more courses. I would recommend getting TGC. You can purchase the TGC1 now and you will get a free upgrade to TGC2019 once released. Rumors are saying within a couple weeks. TGC 2019 will give you multiple tee boxes, plus the highest graphics sim software on the market. It includes hundreds of courses and right now designers are creating courses using Lidar to create the real course with real layout and terrain. Many people like E6 but with TGC2019 it will blow it out of the water. There are many online users to play tournaments with in TGC. Last I heard E6 users were having a hard time finding people online to play with. Good luck on what you decide to do

I got my SkyTrak just after the new year and it is showing a several degree pull on every shot, putter thru driver in both the SkyTrak app and E6 on every golfer (5+) that has played it. I am working thru it with SkyTrak, unfortunately, it has to go back to them (2+ weeks turnaround) to get checked out. Anyone else seeing that problem?

Mike80, are you sure about the free TGC2019 upgrade? When I contacted SkyTrak a few weeks ago, they said they were not sure if there was going to be a charge for the upgrade.

I can’t guarantee it but on this forum it has been stated multiple times that if you purchased TGC in last year they would give a free upgrade to TGC2019.
