All, I have had my SkyTrak since December '16 and have really enjoyed it. Less than a few months into ownership, with a metal case on the way, a friend shanked a ball into my device and, luckily, only cracked the plastic right below the "window" area. So the grey plastic has a small .25"-.5" crack. It works perfectly and has the same quirks as any other unit people comment on (i.e. works great with SkyTrak app but might have a few more misreads in JNPG).
Anyway, my question is if anyone has ever replaced the plastic shell of the SkyTrak or if people think this would ding me if I ever wanted to sell the unit. I have JNPG (expires 1/5/20) and just curious how much I could expect to sell it for or if there is some way to fix it. I've already tried SkyTrak support and they thought I just wanted the plastic for the screen area. They didn't really understand what I was asking. It's just one of those things where I know it is great but I wouldn't blame someone for doubting or trying to get a discount due to a cosmetic issue. Like most, I have considered selling so I can upgrade to a GC2. Especially since you can finance through Affirm now...
