Ok so how important is that metal case,are people shanking balls into the launch monitor that often? I know it's good insurance just in case but I thought I read on here some folks have issues with the case regarding the laser/lens, etc. I'm thinking of passing on the case, I just can't imagine shanking one that bad but then again.....

@ trhuke. Good idea. I suppose the hard part would be finding a piece of wood that's nearly exact in height to the hitting mat.-
I got lucky and just happened to have the right piece laying around. A length of 2x6 would be a good start and then just add a piece of plexy, masonite, whatever if needed to get the height close, then use the little adjustable legs on the case to get it spot on. I have mine detached so I can slide it back and forth and not beat the living hell out of one area fo my hitting surface. (FiberBuilt BTW and I LOVE it, so do my hands and arms)
