POLL: TGC - buy now or wait?

I have Skytrak and have been following the threads about updates and upgrades around TGC and TGC2019. The question is - do I buy now, or do I wait? I see that 04.08.2019 is the official TGC2019 release date so I'm down to 4 days to decide. My criteria is mostly finanical - weighing the known price now vs the speculative/unknown price for TGC2019 through Skytrak.

What would you do and why?

I pulled the trigger last week to lock in the $795 price. Even if they came out with a slightly better sale price (and I can't imagine it would be significantly more than the already $200 off), the peace of mind knowing I won't have to pay $995 was worth it to me.

Thanks gkkling - just as a final confirmation for my own sanity, you fully expect to upgrade to TGC2019 for free right? I've delved into the forum and official releases from ProTee and I'm 99% sure thats the case, but is that what you expect as well?

I'm expecting that as I bought recently within the last week to take advantage of the sale price. Protee confirmed we would be upgraded for free, but I'm not sure if Seth from Skytrak has confirmed that or not.

I have this feeling in the back of my head though of the reason why TGC has been discounted for so long is because they are going to charge a upgrade fee......fingers crossed this doesn't happen.

I'm entirely confident 2019 will be free for no other reason then the hell storm that will be created if its not.

ProTee woudn't have made that commitment (several times too!) if they weren't 100% sure SkyGolf would honor it. For that matter, I think ProTee could take care of it themselves if they had to but it won't come to that. We just have to give SkyGolf the time to get their stuff together.

I know a lot of folks are salty with how certain aspects of this have played out, but the track record of ProTee and specifically SkyTrak_Seth was one of the primary reasons I chose to go with SkyTrak so I'm keeping the faith!
