Hello all. I am brand new to this board. I just bought a Skytrak a couple of weeks ago. I found my skytrak was working great and then it would just freeze. I am in a garage with no real sunlight. To my surprise it seemed as though I am logged out of the skytrak application. I am running this on a Lenovo PC Windows 10. I have the latest Nvidia drivers and latest Windows updates. It has more than enough speed/ram, etc.
I have been reading posts that other people are unable to log back into the skytrak application unless they reboot. I bought a very powerful Wifi extender and for like 20 minutes the systems was flying (I am playing the skytrak system and the e6 1.6 golf demo). It doesn't seem to matter when I am connect vis usb, network mode or direct mode.
This is so frustrating because I am in the middle of an e6 round and then it seems like I have to reboot and we lose everything. I have contacted support and they want me to send pictures of my setup. This seems silly because this works awesome for 20-30 minutes and then just freezes (meaning I have 3 green lights, I swing, nothing gets registered, and I am forced to just start again). Before I got the booster I would have to log into the app and many times it did not recognize my password. The booster I think has helped this.
I have read many posts that the PC skytrak app is buggy. I am not a fast golf swinger (70-80max). This system costs too much for it to operate like this. Has anybody experienced this or have any tips or getting this t work without freezing? Is there a trick where I can keep playing the round? Could there be firewall issues...does the domain network, private network and public network firewalls all need to be off? Any other suggestions?
