TGC 2019 Free Upgrade Fail

I am making this post as a point of interest to see if anyone else has suffered the same fate as me. I purchased TGC in Oct 2019 when they were promoting free upgrades to TGC 2019. At that point in time there was no date for TGC 2019 release and at point of purchase there was no indication of how the upgrade would happen. I must admit having waiting 4 or 5 months with no upgrade it went out of my mind. I just happened to log in to my SlyGolf account this week and saw that it has now been released. So I wondered what happened to my upgrade.

I contacted SkyGolf who eventually assured me that they had emailed me in May advising that it was available along with an activation code. Needless to say I hadn't seen it (I mean if I had what are the chances I would ignore it), and having looked through my inbox, trash, and spam folders I still can't see it. I was told that the offer timed out 90 days after that email was sent.

SkyGolf are adamant that they won't honour the free upgrade.....has anyone else had the same experience?

Wow, that is ridiculous. I can't imagine you won't be taken care of. Hopefully whoever you talked to just didn't know want he was talking about. I got my upgrade from protee and they were great. I would absolutely do business with them again in the future.

Yeah I tried talking to Protee too. They just pointed me back to SkyGolf. I will give them another try tomorrow

I bought a ST and only used it a few times with my iPad and got hurt and that was the end of it.
Never even activated TGC 2018 and bought it with free upgrade to 2019. Part of my sim build process was putting Windows on a one of my Macs which I never did, yet.

Im gonna lose my shit and lawyer up if they tell me I pissed away $1000 on TGC 2018 & 2019 and never ever even activated them. I believe they pay ProTee per activation. So basically they pocketed my $ so far.

Especially since I don’t remember seeing any mention of the 90 BS activation deadline in the original ad or I would have made it a point.

What have you guys been doing it's September 2019 already? You all should have taken care of that so long ago. Sleepygolfer been sleeping too long? I understand the gette fella and his injury keeping him away. Good luck fellas hope you get it worked out.
