    Simulator build

I moved house recently, and it has a nice standalone garage. I had to heighten 3 roof struts, sort out some electrical issues and remove some old plumbing. This so my second build (and final) and I learned a lot from the previous one. I got the new Par 2 Pro HD screen and I’m delighted by the visual improvement. I did all the work myself. I am posting on here as I am pretty proud. I am happy to discuss it if any one needs help to do something similar.

Looks great! Wizard says that would be a space of great happiness for him. What connection is used to get the video on the monitor on the wall?

Super nice job. What is the size of the screen, what projector and how far is the projector from the screen. What is the height of the projector as well.
lastly, what is Behm the screen in terms of layers, is there a foam backing?
        thanks for sharing

Sorry I forgot to answer part of the question. There I nothing behind the screen. I left a 1ft space to the back wall, and my new screen has plenty of rigidity to stop the ball hitting the wall.

        Thanks for the comment.

The screen space is 4m wide (reduced to 3.8m after fixings)

My projector is a BenQ TH671ST.

        The throw of 0.69 - 0.83: Max.

I have it about 3m from the screen and secured on a cross beam at 2.25m above the floor.

        I hope this helps.

Great sim room! Also, great view of #12 at Augusta.

What are you doing for heating and cooling for the detached garage?

Hi, thanks for the nice comment. In scotland, cooling is never an issue. I have a few blow heaters for when it gets really cold but at least I’ll be out of the wind and rain.

Very Nice Build... What are you using for the Launch Monitor? Set up is similar to mine with the TV on the side and projector above.
