Can Skytrak software run OK on regular IPad?

If I buy the latest regular IPad, can I run the Skytrak software on it with acceptable result or do I really have to go up to IPad Air, mini or Pro model?

I have an iPad that I used with my skytrak for 3 years. It ran my skytrak range and wgt. I had a device that connected usb from it to a tv.

I ran it just fine on an iPad mini 2 from early 2014. Worked great.

Also loaded on an iPad Air and an iPhone 10....saw no difference between the three. Never a problem.

A new iPad will run the SkyTrak software great. I have the prior (6th) gen iPad and used to use that with my SkyTrak (before getting the ST fully setup in my garage) and that was running great as well. Before that I initially used a Galaxy S6 to run the ST software and even that ran just fine (albeit the small font size sucked).
