Righty Lefty question for projected screen

I assume the golfer would have to be centered on the screen/mat? Now I play with moving the device and I use a monitor, wondering if a projector and screen would even work for righty lefty play?

the ball is centered on the screen. my main mat is built for righties but I taped together a few pieces of firm interlocking foam from lowes to make a stance mat the same thickness as my mat. I put a piece of carpet pad on bottom so it doesn't slide around. for par 3 courses lefties swing over the top of the machine....a little tougher with a driver but can be done. instead you can get another small piece to put put the skytrak on (same level as matt). then move to other side of hitting area when lefties hit. not ideal as it can mess with your alignment a little but if you mark the position on the mat it works fine.

we have no issue going righty lefty, playing 4 to 5 times a week with a lefty friend. we have 10ft left to right so it seems to work well for us. I can upload some photo if you like. Hitting for me is a little right of center so you have to train yourself to hit the straight shot to a target on the screen. I look at the shot from behind the ball some time and pick my spot and line up and hit, this also keeps me in line with the way I play outside with shot routine. Its not been a issues for us. Forgot to add I also have strips of black gorilla tape that help with alignment and I also use the tape to mark Putting lengths.

Interesting. Thanks for the feedback. I have a net set up for now and a tv for the display. The only way there is enough room for a lefty and righty is to hit at the edge of the mat on each side. I don’t think I have the room to place the ball in the center of the mat.

This really works well and it helped me focus on aiming better then just drilling into what i think is the center. But you will have a little less room for any Hosil rockets or the occasional what the hell was that shot . I have my entire hitting bay lined with boat carpet and black out curtains so its no issue.
      Working...
