Durability of the Skytrak launch monitor?

Had mine for four years now. Had to replace the left laser curtain in year two after 14k shots. The only problem since then (estimate 30k shots) is that the battery meter is not registering accurately.

So the extended warranty would have been wasted on your situation since it was over the one year mark. Can you tell me what it cost to get it repaired? Because the 2 year Skycare Product Program is $299 with a discounted repair or unit replacement.
