Skytrak duel screen help

Hi ,
I’m new here just doing my golf room (shed) just doing a dummy set up with everything.
i have my laptop problem is I put a splitter in the laptop hdmi then hdmi cable to the tv works as soon as I put the projector to the splitter the tv looses the connection unplug the projector it comes on I want the laptop to come through the tv and projector at the same time , am I doing something wrong here ?? Yes you are doing something wrong, no worries easy fix. Hold down your windows key and press "P" on your keyboard. An option will come up and you need to make sure you are selecting "Duplicate".

Keep in mind that if you use an HDMI splitter, this is your only option. You can not have your projector and TV both be two different screens as if you were running two outputs from your video card. If that is your intention then you cannot use a splitter, but if you just want the same screen in two places then you should be good to go. Let me know if that wasn't the problem.

(Additional options would be available if you can use Displayport instead of HDMI, but now we're getting technical so I won't geek out unless you ask haha)

Hi ok the duplicate screen was working ok until I connected skytrak then one screen goes off . Switch skytrak off duel screen appears again
skytrak is connected via WiFi to my laptop
please help 😃

Which WiFi, direct or network mode? I can't think of a reason why that would happen.

What happens if you open the SkyTrak app without turning the SkyTrak on, does it still work?

Hi yes in direct mode as no internet yet in there . Open the app all 3 screens work turn on sky trak tv goes off

Panic over . It must have had a gremlin in the system plugged the tv hdmi in as normal and yes it came on perfectly

I think it’s the cheap splitter from eBay that’s the problem .what s the best splitter to buy ? Do you have a link ?

Thanks guys , for your help . Seems like the laptop was timing out hence switching the screens off . So I’ve adjusted that and all working good .
the electrics will be all connected this week so il do another thread with my build
