Doesn't take long for ST to send renewal notices for the Game Improvement Package. My renewal isn't due until April but I received a "time to renew" notice in my email today. lol They want my money quite a few months in advance. I think I'll wait until it gets a bit closer.

Mine is up in mid-late February... I'm not giving them one red cent at least until that date, and I'm considering holding back my $100 subscription until the update comes out. And if that happens and we don't see something come out before a specific time. I'm selling and getting a Mevo+ -

I didn't renew because:
1) I tore my rotator cuff (ouch); and
2) looks like this Mevo+ is the real deal that might just put SkyTrak out of biz.
While recovering from my rotator cuff surgery, will look at reviews of this new Mevo+. If as advertised, with more data including club data for only $2k including E6 Connect (with 5 courses, 17 driving ranges) + a very good Flightscope app w challenges, will sell my SkyTrak and switch to Mevo+ (more data and no more annual fees - for software that has no updates).Comment

I'm looking forward to reviews now that they are hitting the field. It will be interesting to see how well they perform indoors. If they perform well and support Android, I will upgrade.Comment

I got the same emails for several months. Mine ran out in November. I renewed this week without any issues. I was actually surprised how easy it was to get up and running again.Comment

I'm waiting as well. From the research I've done; radar is king outdoors and photo-metric is king indoors. I don't plan on ever taking my LM outside so... GC2 would make the most sense for me if I was going to make a change but I'm not ready to pull the trigger.My published courses:

this is also where I am leaning, I don't understand the short falls of the Skytrak. They all seem fixable, but it doesn't seem they want to allocate the proper resource for it. And if they do and just feel its good practice to keep it hush hush then I am not into that either. I think the Market is heading in the right direction and we will see more and more companies either coming out or being bought and making the buyers product better. But GC2 seems to tick the boxes of the Skytrak woes.. I have 6 more months before I have to pay or do anything so we will see what happens. -
I'm not sure any consumer can justify Skytrak's position right now. I have 2 months before I have to renew. Skytrak has 1 real problem, high ball speed. Improving HLA detection and spin rates below 2k would be nice, but the high ball speed issue is the highest priority IMO. They fix that, and Skytrak is an extremely solid option at its price. They improve in all 3 of these areas, and they'll start to threaten GC2.Last edited by EG$; 02-04-2020, 05:26 PM.
