So in October I decided to build my golf room (shed outside )
I wanted to do it correctly so researched the size I needed so it measures basically 16ft by 16ft and 10 ft high due to planning in uk I had to dig down 3 feet so the outside to the eaves were no more than 2.5 meters then built a block wall on a foundation all lined with visquine then 4 inch of concrete to make a base lots of delays with builders and the shed build and fast forward to late January and it’s up just the electric to finish this week
my screen is 3.7 meters by 3 meters high
I put in a 4by 5 putting green with 4 holes (10 on the stimp)
fringe grass at the rear for chipping off . Pro tee turf to hit off 2x2meters takes a tee and great to hit off .
projector , tv , laptop and of coarse skytrak which seems to work great seems accurate and don’t get many shots that don’t register I use prov practice golf balls , I thought with practice written on skytrak would pick up reading better . Cost around £11,000 all in for everything
I put a sump hole in in case of flooding, which brings me to my major problem the storm the other day it was flooded coming through the concrete walls as they underground I wished I’d got it tanked now the shed as no leaks seems light rain is ok but a real heavy downpour and it leaks . Maybe I. We’d to put in a automatic pump then I’d have no worries but we’ll see . Just glad all the grass is made for outdoor use
