Deregistering previous registrant name.

Hello. I'm Rick and just recently purchased a second hand Skytrak unit. The device is registered to previous owner and would like to change it to my name but I can't get a hold of the previous owner. Can anyone advise on how to go about handling such case?

My certified refurbished was the same way. Chatted with customer service and they had me do a reset by putting a paper clip into the large brass center hole on the bottom of the unit and holding it in for 10 seconds until all lights show as amber. It is under a rubber plug. When I logged back in it went through the login process and then it showed my name instead of the previous owner. One would think this would be part of the refurbishment process.

I bought used also all I did was call skytrak. They cleared it and I paid the $99 and that was that. Congrats on your purchase
