Skytrak will not connect to USB mode

I've always used my skytrak plugged into my PC via USB

now since the update I get an offline mode pop up window that asks me to connecting to the internet and only gives me the option to exit

has anyone else figured out an alternative or solution to this

Was your PC still connected to the Internet?

yes, but prior to this version even when I wasn't connected I would get the user tab on the right would be red but it would connect via USB seemlessly

it appears it makes you have to go through the internet

Hmm. Mine has always check for Internet connectivity to get the license info, whether I’m USB or WiFi. Don’t recall a time where I used Skytrak w/o a connection.

You do need an internet connection to login to the app for the first time, but not after that. Did you download the app from the SkyTrak website or did you download the early release I posted here? If the latter, then there was definitely a bug with that offline mode popup that we fixed for the full release. You should be able to use the app in offline mode for 90 days before we require a check with internet.

The user tab on the right indicates if you are logged in or not, not if you have internet. So green (or any other color now)=logged in, red=not logged in.

It may be worthwhile to try deleting the local cache file located in C:\Users\[current user]\App Data\Local Low - delete the SkyTrak folder in there and launch the app again.

thanks Seth, I downloaded the early release file on March 6th. it worked initially and I experienced this issue since then.

Should I delete this version and download the recent public version or should I start by clearing cache cmviss the above instructions.

lastly if I do delete cache will I lose the bag profile I set up or my shot history and alignment etc
