Metallic case - chipping and putting issue

I'm very dissatisfied with the metallic case. For standard shots it's OK.
This is absolutely inappropriate for chips and putts. Data for HA are completely random and extra inaccurate. Without metallic case, the horizontal angle is in the range of 2 degrees on both sides - it is OK. With metallic case HA is randomly up to 10 degrees - it is no exception.

For example, the unit reads several putts to 2 degrees and then one 10 degrees left and the next one 8 degrees right.

I am very disgusted with this official accessory.

For information, the case bottom is in the same level with the mat.

It isn’t available anymore but I purchased the Skytrak Armour which was developed along with the current adopted kind by Skytrak. I have no issues whatsoever. Maybe you can find one out on eBay

What was Skytrak’s response when you contacted them?

I have the same issues, it is aggravating for sure. I just deal with it as I don't feel comfortable letting people hit on it without the case.
