Hitting distance and Room width.

Hi guys, recently bought a skytrak but don't know the dimensions required for the room which I am going to get built.

How far should you be from the screen?

How wide should the room be so I can hit in the middle of the screen?

Distance from the screen should be at least 6-7 feet. Most people are more in the 9 foot ballpark with Skytrak.

Remember to allow some space behind the screen. You don't want it right up against the wall. At least 8-12 inches or so usually does the trick.

You'll want at least 7-8 feet or so from the ball to the back wall to allow for a comfortable backswing/downswing.

As far as the width needed to hit from center .... I'd say 14 feet wide should do it. Mine is about 12.5 feet wide and I'm offset to the right of the room just a little bit. So I'm just going off that as a comparison. (Although my 10x10 screen is positioned off to the right side, so although I'm hitting from the right side of the room I'm hitting into the middle of the screen if that makes sense).

Sounds perfect to me.

The room is:
24ft long
13ft wide

This should allow for a comfortable swing space and then some spare room at the back hopefully! Also I dont mind having to offset a little bit to the right, shouldnt be a problem.
