    Purchase new mat in UK

    Hi,

I have a pretty good training mat but I want to start hitting the ball off of a less firm surface to reduce the chance of injury.

i cannot seem to purchase a Divot-action or TrueStrike mat in the uk.

If anyone knows how to buy one of these, or another alternative, or how to get it shipped, please get in touch. Thanks all.

I had the same issue, you cannot get a divot action mat anywhere it seems in the UK. I think you can get the Trustrike but its not cheap. I ended up getting the tee turf 2x1m from golfswingsystems.co.uk for £200

I purchased the Amtech Quad Tech mat and i am really happy with it

I got the winter tee it up mat from amtech a few years ago and it’s still going strong. Plus it’s probably the only mat around that appears to be in stock.

I hit straight off the mat it’s a nice surface to hit from. I have been using it daily for about the past 3 years.

Mine is a single piece 1.5m x 1.5m - quad layer. So far, no pains in elbows, feels good. Distances seem accurate and realistic

Alex , I absolutely trashed my elbows with the tee turf mat,I have since cut a fibrebuilt strip into it. This has enabled me to carry on playing regularly.both items purchased through golfswingsystems.

also the fubrebuilt looks really long in length (grass wise) ? but everyone uses it to must not be?

I tried to get info on true strike for Ireland (so not to for from UK!!!) I got this response:

                      "
Your vest bet will be to go to www.rangeking.eu who are a dutch company and they have stock of complete TrueStrike for immediate shipment.
                      "

If it's of any help - they're expensive though...

There is a recent thread on here where the topic starter discusses the Amtech mats and the different inserts - i have this mat pencilled in in my planned build in the UK, going for the Dual Turf Insert
