  • Pro V1's? Or any other recommendations?

Hi, I just bought my Skytrak but the room hasn't been built yet. I purchased a Den Caddy bag for the room and was considering filling it with Pro V1's.
But before I buy 100 of them I thought it'd be best to check that the Skytrak works well with this ball?
If anybody could let me know if it makes a difference or not , it'd be much appreciated.

If people have found problems with Pro V1's then I'd be open to other recommendations!

    Thanks in advance.

sirish19 I am almost bought 2-dozen Kirkland balls from Costco as well because of the price. MySpyGolf 2019 ball review does a good comparison of popular balls. The Kirkland spun about as well as ProV1x's with wedges but lagged in Driver distance in the test. Rick Shiels reported same in a YouTube video. I am surprised the spin jumped so much with your Driver using the Kirkland balls - that's great intel. I opted for Snell MTB-X balls - 2/3 the price of new ProV1s and I couldn't tell the difference between the Snell's and a brand new sleeve of the Titliest balls.

Ball reviews I have seen for refurbished ProV1s against new ones suggest they fly about the same!

Yeah, I jumped on the Kirkland balls because I have never seen them at Costco here in Japan and thought they were cheap enough to give a shot. I was also surprised how much spin I was getting on the driver and lost distance as a result. I also saw Rick Shields' review of the refurb balls and I can also say that it was spot on. Interestingly, he talked about how much the refurb balls scuffed up more easily than the new balls and I also find that to be true. He mentioned that you probably wouldn't notice because you would likely lose the ball before it becomes unplayable on the course. This would not be the same for playing on the sim, however, so I will likely play them on the sim first and then retire to the bag before they get too ragged. Then I will undoubtedly lose them on the course.

At the moment with the 2-dozen Kirklands and 5 dozen refurb ProV1s, I am pretty loaded up on balls for not but will try to grab some of the Snells at some point and give them a try.
