I took the plunge and bought TGC 2019 a couple days ago. Was excited to get it up and running but quickly ran into issues. I believe I have done everything correctly following the installation instructions. The first real issue I had was that the Skytrak TGC Interface wouldn't open. It wouldn't download properly but created a broken link on my desktop. So I tried to download the Beta Interface instead. That worked. It let me connect the Skytrak. Success I thought? Wrong!! When I hit a shot even tho the laser dot was ON, the shot would not register at all. I noticed that the interface says the TGC Lic has EXPIRED (see attached)? I paid for it just 4 days ago. Protee have been no help at all. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help appreciated.

I've never seen that screen before. I'm guessing it's because it's the beta version. Weird that it says your game improvement plan is "invalid" but then also says it expires on Sept. 13(?)
If it were me, I would uninstall and go through the installation process again and install the non-beta version. Did you see a screen that said "connect box" and then a red "play game" button?
I'm also a bit surprised that ProTee hasn't been more helpful as I found them to be extremely helpful when I ran into an installation issue myself. What did they have to say? -
ProTee says there is nothing they can do but to contact SkyGolf.
I have not been able to successfully download the non-beta version. I'm trying to avoid a complete reinstall as the game is a 20gig download. I did rerun the installer just to try download the Interface, but all that happens is it creates a broken link on my desktop. Only the Beta downloads for me. Don't know why? When I download the Beta you can tell it's downloading a good size file. The non-beta flashes through the download like it isn't downloading anything??Comment

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues, The support has been in contact with you for a while to figure this out with you.
The issue is that something is wrong on SkyTraks side, and you need to contact them as we are unable to sort this out for you.
The Beta interface is working flawlessly and can be used to replace the other interface without any issues.

So SkyGolf says that I have 2 accounts. One has a device registered, the other doesn't. They assure me it is an account problem. I have not been home to see if this fixes it.
I am hopeful but a little skeptical. Never had an issue like this with WGT?Comment

Well the 2 account thing didn't make a difference. Red laser is there, looks ready to go, but shot doesn't register!
Does anyone know why the Skytrak TGC Interface will not download to my PC and only the Beta Interface?? Again, it creates a link on the desktop for it but the actual program is not downloaded to the PC.Last edited by mpaul73; 08-25-2020, 11:20 PM.Comment

So for anyone interested I got TGC working last night. After searching these forums for some clue as to the problem I found it! All I had to do to fix it was create a brand new admin user account in Windows 10. Once I done that, the TGC Interface downloaded, and everything connected. At first it was taking like about 10 secs for a shot to register but for whatever reason that big delay went away? So everything is running good now. Played 18 at Augusta National (sorry Firethorn!). had a couple of birdies but we won't talk about the other holes lolComment
