Name of file for add friends

I tried to play against a friend. We both have skytrak, tgc19, same settings, etc...
He can add me to: Group/Add rival. I cannot.
Pro tee solution is to reinstall windows.
What is the name of the files that are related to Add rival or friends? i have no problem looking in registry to tweak stuff...
