  • IOS 14 update and now SkyTrak wont connect

connects to my iphone just fine as I havent updated to 14.1, but since the update was installed on my ipad, I cannot get the unit to connect. Have tried direct and network and just get 2 red lines until it shuts itself down.
any others with this issue or know of a workaround? i hit in the garage so not set up to connect to a PC there.

    Hi,
I’m running iOS 14.1 on my iPad and no issues connecting to my Skytrak, I do have an issue when I try to view the log of my sessions. The Skytrak software just hangs....

Reset the SkyTrak (hole in the bottom of the skytrak) and try connecting it to your network again.

I know that IOS 14 added the ability to hide your MAC address from wifi networks, so you might want to make sure that this is disabled for the SSID that both your ipad and the skytrak is on.

Settings... Wi-Fi... [select 'i' button next to your SSID] ... disable Private Address

Since I moved to 14.2 my ipads won't connect in network mode. I've contacted skytrak three times and no help. Any ideas?

Hey guys, we have iOS 14.2.1 on a development iPhone and it connects fine in network mode. There is a new setting to allow apps to find and connect to devices on your local network, maybe you have that turned off. It’s under Settings > Privacy > Local Network > Find the SkyTrak App and Turn On.
