    Can't Connect in Network Mode

I read that it isn't compatible with default GW of 10.0.0.1 - any idea what/where I should change these settings to?

Most likely, you need to change your internet router. 10.x.x.x is the private network on your home side of the internet router, and routers normally allow you to configure using 10.x.x.x or one of the other two private network ip address schemes: 172.16.x.x or 192.168.x.x - For example, if you reconfigure your router to use 192.168.1.x, then all your devices at home will be re-assigned ip addresses from the 192.168.1.x pool, and they'll be assigned a gateway address of something like 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1.

Here's the wikipedia article of the private IPv4 networks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network
