My skytrak has decided to not register many (or any most of the time) right hand shots and all the lights stay green. In the left hand mode it registers all the shots (if you can call my lefty attempts shots). After looking through some posts here I thought I would have a go at swapping over the IR Curtains as it sounded like that was probably the issue. That didn't make a difference though, I've swapped them over multiple times but I still can't get the righty shots to register and the lefty ones work every time.
After try that a few times, changing the orientation and anything else I could think of to change between them I decided to swap what I think is the IR receiver (behind the mirror in the photo). Again this hasn't made a difference.
I then got my camera out and took and image of the IR Curtain in both right and left hand mode. It looked like the left hand mode one was a bit brighter but I can really tell. I thought I'd use a multimeter to see what voltage was being supplied to the right and left, and from what I can tell it is 4.23v are both.
I'm at a total lose to explain why it is working in left hand mode and not in right. Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? Being in Australia it is expensive and takes a long time to get one sent back to Skytrak for them to investigate.
Cheers
