Is it me or does WGT really suck?

Last year I spent $100 on the World Golf Tour to play on my SKYTRAK. When I went to sign in and play last night, things looked different and I couldn’t find a place to just play like last year.

Do any of you have SKYTRAK and use a golfing program that allows you to play on courses?

Do any of you have any thoughts about WGT and could tell me what I might be doing incorrectly? I don’t mind using the range but time to time I’d like something a little different.

Thanks in advance for any help

If it's been a year since you last played, it's likely that your subscription expired. Do yourself a favor and just pony up for tgc2019.

Can you play with non SKYTRAK members and add them as a player?

I was not a fan of the chipping and putting when I first started playing it. I never have had any issues with the full shots, just the 30 yard in and putting especially the putting. Now almost a year later I prefer it over E6 connect free demo one course. I am not ready to spend $895 on TGC2019 and another $600 on building a gaming PC with minimum specs. But the extra $100 a year or $8.33 a month for the PIP is worth it as now I play with hundreds of other WGT players we have monthly tournaments and there is always someone online to play. Last month our tournament was a No First Putt gimmie tournament where you had to putt and not take a gimmie until you got inside the 2 feet from the hole for the gimmie and since practicing and playing that tournament I do not think I will take any more of those 34 feet away 3 putt gimmies!! If you need help figuring out what is up with your issues you can look at the group on FB under Skytrak Users - WGT Players or add me to your WGT player user MichaelSBurton

I’ve been paying WGT for about two weeks now, and I’m not a big fan of it (although I did get two legit birdies on St. Andrews course this evening). It’s difficult to figure out where to aim. For drives and irons, Do you just aim at the center and let it rip, or do you actually have to move the targets on the iPad screen? For putts, I just usually take the strokes, unless they’re birdie putts.

i will likely change to tgc2019 once my year subscription is up next November. Hopefully the new full swing sim kit is out by then

You have to adjust your aim based on the wind and your intended ball flight (Fade/Draw) I found the into your face wind and the into you cross wind to the right seems to be more impacting to my ball flight (normal draw with irons and slight fade with driver) than the wind direction behind you (helping). I also move the aim point for putts as well as there are some holes with major break on them.

Have you been able to play with friends that aren’t a WGT member?
