just got my sky track installed and every so often it will quit reading my shot. I swing through the red dot and it turns red for a quick second and then goes right back to green, I installed the TGC 19 today and I can't finish one hole without it happening. It also only reads about half of wedge shots.

Is it new or used?
Are you playing tgc in wifi mode?
For wedges, place the ball forward of the red dot (in the direction of the target) by about an inch. And make sure the logo of the ball faces the unit. -

I did all of those, It works for awhile and then it just stops reading the swing, I thought I had it going this morning and started a round on TGC and by the end of hole 2 it froze up. I am bout ready to box it up and send it back and go with something else.

Have you got the unit level with your mat. I had my unit to high and would not read my putts. drove me crazy I thought I had it same level. But when I dropped it lower no problem.

I checked that and even lowered it down and it work for awhile and then it froze up again. Its strange because it will work great for awhile and then it freezes up.Comment

Check out the skytrak setup guide on gunghogolf. Something is obviously wrong because that's not normal. If tgc is freezing up that could be a tgc issue or an internet issue or something. It was freezing up before I installed TGC. WIFI is good. I have connected USB, Network and direct. Problem is that I am not a computer guy at all.

Are you sure your computer meets the minimum specs required for tgc? If it's freezing up that could indicate its specs are not up to par. And when you say skytrak freezes, do you mean it literally just locks up?

It was freezing up beforee I installed TGC. When i am on skytrak improve and play driving range it does it there as well.Comment

Yes I have. I just went and lowered my skytrak to see if that would help. Just like before i was able to hit some on range and started a round on TGC. Played out the first hole just great and then i t froze up when i Went to tee off on the second. Guess I will just have to wait for skytrak to be open tomorrow. FrustratingComment
