Skytrak Support Wont Transfer TGC19

i just got a reply from skytrak support asking about buying TGC19 from a skytrak user to be used on my skytrak and their response was that its not possible ?
is this true ? cause i thought that's why we pay the transfer fee ? or is this some sort of deal skytrak has over TGC19 ?

You got the correct response, it can be transferred to other hardware, just not another skytrak

So if ylu have a skytrak.. you have to buy it brand new and not from another user ?? But all other devices can buy a used tgc ?? Argh

If you sell your skytrak along with the TGC2019 then you can transfer it. But you cannot sell TGC2019 to another owner of a different skytrak. Your TGC2019 license is to your SkyTrak. Oh and of course once they give you permission

Does ProTee United allow software license transfers/used sales?
The vast majority of software products on the market do not allow license transfers of any kind. However, at ProTee United we realize that there are certain circumstances where it can be a legitimate transaction. Because circumstances can vary so much, we only consider and grant license transfers on a case-by-case basis, and only for the original owner.

Can I resell software used to someone else?
Not without first obtaining a license transfer from ProTee United. Software is licensed and registered ONLY to you (single-user). You cannot automatically transfer the license to someone else, and therefore you cannot simply sell it used. If you do attempt to sell it used without first obtaining a license transfer, the buyer will not be able to use the product because it is registered and licensed to you.

Can I Sell or Transfer TGC for SkyTrak?


TGC for SkyTrak is only transferrable when the SkyTrak AND TGC software are registered to a new owner. Both the SkyTrak and TGC license that was associated with that SkyTrak must be used by the new owner in order to setup a transfer. Please follow the directions below to transfer TGC:

1. Contact TGC at (support@protee-united.com) and explain that you purchased a used system and want to transfer the license.
2. Include the original license key from the previous owner (can only be given by the previous owner).
3. Register the copy of TGC as a new registration.
4. TGC will send a license key to the new owner.

The subscription (License Agreement) can be transferred to another computer one time ONLY!!! Once this is done it cannot be transferred back to the original computer.

in order to transfer TGC to a new owner, a transfer fee from ProTee is required.
