  • Ceiling Projector Mount, Angled Ceiling

Hey folks, have any of you mounted a projector with a sloped ceiling? Oddly enough, the ceiling slope is perpendicular to the direction of the hitting screen so it's not an issue of tilting up or down but sideways. Obviously the mount would need to articulate.

I have an AllSportsSystems golf sim with the SkyRail mount system but was thinking of mounting the projector to the ceiling so it's higher and more out of the way of errant swings from some of my more taller friends.

Any product suggestions (with links) would be appreciated.

Most projector mounts allow you to swivel it back and forth and side to side. So the arm of the mount might hang at a weird angle but you should be able to just swivel the part that holds the projector to straighten out the image.

Probably be wise to figure what the ceiling angle is before shopping for one of these things.

Another thing to do is forget the mount and just hang a small shelf for the projector to sit on. It can hang by a chain (longer chain on the side with the higher slope of course).
