  • Can't get Skytrack or TGC19 to work on PC HELP!

    Hello All,

    I am reaching out here as frustrated and angry customer..

    First of all, I am able to run the Skytrack app on my ipad perfectly fine but whenever I try to use a brand new PC that I bought specifically for TGC19 I can't even get the unit to work for the Skytrack app. The unit also works fine on my laptop. I am using a 40 inch TV as my monitor but it works fine when I connect to the laptop.

    Whenever I connect to the PC the top light and the sensor light flash on and off (top light goes from green to red). There are times when the light doesn't flash but when I hit a ball nothing happens on the screen.. Things I have tried to fix:
    Called Skytrack (useless all they do is reinstall the app)
    New USB cord
    New power strip
    New extension cord
    Reinstall app
    Called customer support more times than I'd like to count

    Does anyone have any suggestions? PLEASE HELP! ALL I WANT TO DO IS PLAY SOME TGC19!!

    The typical approach to solving a problem like this is to try different things to isolate where the problem is occurring. I assume you're trying the same USB cable on the PC as the one you use in your laptop. Have you tried connecting in network mode or in direct mode?

    Another thing to check is if you have any kid of antivirus software running on your new PC that might be blocking skytrak. Some folks have reported problems even with VPN software, though I don't remember the details (likely in network connection mode).

      Do you have the TGC2019 installed on your PC? Are you able to log in? Have you created a profile? Adjusted all the settings etc? Image, offset, appearance etc.

        You mean it flashes on and off continuously? Is it in the metal case and connected with USB? To me that would indicate a static issue. However, if it worked on your laptop in the exact same setup and environment, then maybe that's not the issue. Is it possible though to try connecting the unit to the PC in Network Mode?
