Skytrac delays

I was curious so I did a chat on Skytrac website. Wanted to know if I ordered one when would I be charged for the Skytrac. Answer as soon as you order you pay for it. So they expect me to pay for it and wait 4-5 months before receiving it. My response no thanks will look elsewhere.

If you order direct from them it seems to be about 8 weeks according to the other thread. Still sucks, but it isn't 4-5 months.

Lol I can't blame you. I got lucky and ordered mine right before Covid messed things up. I got mine in like 4 days and then the very next week was when all the big delays started happening. I feel bad for everyone having to wait.

Problem not the wait so much as wanting me to pay up front instead of paying when it ships.

Gotta balance pay upfront and receive in 8ish weeks or pay when shipped and wait 12+ weeks. Individual decision but I fully understand where you’re coming from.

I would say stay in tune with the other thread every couple of days the thread will mention another supplier with stock on hand. One advantage of the wait is not paying sales taxes (If you buy from Gungho or par2pro, other smaller suppliers)

The wait is tough but it does allow for DIY buildout discovery. I had additional delays by UPS but have had it for 3 days and have used it 3 times. Best of luck!
