Is a protetive case A MUST HAVE?

My skytrak have been naked since I saw this picture....
I found that the OEM case is asking $149.96 on amazon while there is also one $86.
Any recommendation please?

I bought the custom built case off of eBay. I don’t know if I could drive a car over it, but it would definitely stop a ball or club from going through. I’ve never had any issues with the case interfering with the performance of the SkyTrak.

i bought one on amazon for 85€ in france, top value, absolutely necessary...
i play with my friend the great white shank.... it has been striken many times and no problemo

Amazon and the Bay have them at discounts. Its for bounce back protection and mistakes....Like walking backwards over the unit.

Ditto a must have. Cheap insurance. Skytrak charge for repair diagnosis is most likely more than this cost

If I was the only one that hit on my sim, I wouldn't need it. I have all types of golfers come over and hit on it and my protective case has literally saved my skytrak no less than 20 times. It is an absolute must if you have players worse than a 12 handicap hit on your sim.
