    Protective Case: Just buy one

So, I'm not a great golfer but I've been able to get my Hcp down to around a 12. I've owned my ST for roughly 3 years now, I've shanked balls and i've had balls come back off walls etc but none have ever hit my ST...

I have the protective case... And thank the Lord I do... I have two brothers and a friend who are both have pretty janky swings. In the past few weeks I've had them over and they have either hosle'd or toe-shanked balls directly into the case, hard enough to mis-align the unit that is sitting on my camera slider.

All I can say is if you are on the fence about getting one, just do it. I like to make jokes about my brothers and my friend and give them crap for doing stuff like that, but I'd rather joke with them than tell them they are going to need to pony up for the cost of a replacement unit.

Also, for anyone who has a GCQuad, how are you not worried about ball's hitting it? There are no protection options for it either.

Anyhow, just a little PSA for you guys on the fence. If needed, I'm happy to post photos of my wall after my brothers and friend get through with a day

The best insurance option is foam balls. The second best insurance option is the protective case

IMO, you are either very selfish (dont want to play with others) or a fool (think a shank is beyond your game), probably both, if you dont buy the protective case. LOL. I have yet to hit the skytrak (hit darn near everything else in our garage), but my fiance and multiple friends have blasted the thing. These things cost way too much to not spring for the case.

I refused to have inexperienced or new to golf, golfers over until my case came in. Strictly was me and my dad using prior. Had a group of 8 over the other day (varying skill levels) played a 4 team scramble. Was happy to have it. Provided a peace of mind.
