Latest Android update - no longer discovers Skytrak

Since updating my tablet with the latest Android version, the Skytrak is undiscoverable in both Network and Direct mode. My PC connects ok with the Skytrak and also my iPhone, it's only the tablet Android that is unable to connect. It was working perfectly before the Android version upgrade a few days ago.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

yep, same issue for me. I posted a note in the other thread. no clue why yet. Even tried resetting the device via the bottom button.

Same issue as well with v4.0. Undiscoverable in network mode and direct mode from my Android device. Works fine with iPad.

Same issue with me. Samsung S20+, App version 4.02.

Updated the app two days ago (through the Google Play store) and it stopped discovering. Tried lots of different things that didn't work, including hard reset, turning off wireless router, leaving my home with the unit and mobile device, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Edit: Technical support says it's a "known issue" with Android devices and that they are working on a fix. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide me with a method to roll back to the prior version.

I ended up having to rollback the Android update to the previous version and it then discovered the Skytrak once again.

Yeah, Android pushed a security update for Android 11 that broke our unit connection, literally at the same time we released v4.0. I just posted a public beta v4.0.3 to Google Play yesterday. If you sign up as a beta tester, you can give it a go!
