I bought a skytrak on eBay a little over a year ago and it came with a year of the prior owner’s subscription plan through skytrak now it’s expired and I cannot reach the prior owner to unregister , therefore I cannot purchase a plan. So am I stuck with something I can’t even use now . I have contacted eBay and they are trying to contact the seller but nothing has happened as of yet , is there any other options

The only way you could have been using his membership is if you had his login credentials for the site. So all you need to do is use his login credentials go into his profile click on devices and then click on deactivate. Make sure you capture the device serial number information that shows on his profile before you deactivate it you will need that to register your device. Once you deactivate the device on his account you can then add the device to your account and then subsequently memberships. Of course you will lose all your previous data from everything you've done since you owned it hope that helps
