Second owner of Skytrak - change registration & TGC ??s

Hello,
I did a quick search, but don't see an answer.
I purchased a used Skytrak and want change the registration to my name before I add TGC2019. Will Skytrak allow me to do that? I'm sure the previous owner will have no issue providing whatever is needed on his end.
Also, the game improvement plan is on this Skytrak (from the previous owner) and has quite a few months left on the subscription. Do I risk losing that?

Other question - Is there a good reason to pay the extra $100 for the original TGC with the package? What does it have the the newer version doesn't?

So you can always contact ST in chat and all those questions to confirm. But I just went through the same thing. As far as any memberships the previous owner has those are not transferable. So the best thing you could do would be to try to get his login credentials and then use the remaining portion of his membership. However you will then be merging your information and shot data with his. So I would suggest instead to just have him go into his profile go to devices and have him deactivate the device once he does that you can go in and register the device and it will now be under you. Then I recommend the $99 game improvement plan which is fantastic it's got so many features. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have any good manual describing all of the various functions so it will take you some time to go through everything to learn them. Lastly before he deactivates the device make sure you get the device serial number which will show on his account. What my previous owner did was he just gave me his login credentials I went in took a screenshot of his device and then deactivated it logged out went into my account and registered it immediately back. Hope this helps
