I am trying to decide which software to purchase. Which one is more realistic for putting with skytrak? I know there is no launch Monitors or softwares that are great, however I'm looking for the one that gives me more realistic putting experience. When I watch demos with TGC 19 it looks like you have to manually with mouse point in the direction and then putt. I'm not sure if this will help with direction and speed. With E6 connect it looks that the line is automatically presented and again you just put straight. Is there a way to aim and path without having to tell the software what direction to ball needs to go?

Putting is never a strong point on simulators. In my opinion I wouldn't weigh putting too heavy on deciding to go e6 connect vs TGC19. Everything from Skytrak to Trackman... suck at putting. Every sim I've played on with others... people always complain about putting no matter how good the software is. I would weigh more: course availability, game types(ie: scramble), graphics, and cost.
With that said... I've had both and putting seems more accurate in E6 Connect. I have TGC19 now... and use the straight putt correction. You do aim with the mouse but i'm more concerned with getting speed down(which you still do). When I have four people playing on the sim... I actually do six yards 1putt and 15yards 2putt just to make the game go by quicker. I played my first Q-School round last night and actually like the standard gimmie option... which is inside 2yards or something is a gimmie.

Atta Asef - putting is good based on how you want to do it. There's an entire post where we debated 'feel putting' - lining up to the break, versus 'straight putting', look for it. Most sim software you can still 'feel putt' by aiming off-line and let it take the break. I think that is way more realistic and makes the game more authentic to play, but others disagree.
Also, your 'screen alignment' makes a huge difference and Creative Golf 3D, just came out with a new version (2.8 I think), that lets you set screen alignment for 1.) Driver, 2.) Putter, and 3.) other clubs this would allow you to putt from a putting mat off to the side of your hitting/impact mat and makes it even more realistic. Good luck choosing, but I'm with you, I want to aim my putter to the screen (left/right to take in break) and not 'straight putt' every single time. It's the only way to practice and does not involve touching the mouse at all
