Hi All, my Skytrak unit is playing up. When I connect the unit to the App it tells me the battery is critically low and will disconnect from it immediately (PC). Both through direct connection and wifi. I know the battery is not low as I left the unit on and it ran for a number of hours. Have tried the Apps on both my Android and Iphone with the same result. Unit is only a year old. Any thoughts??

I had a weird battery issue a year back - IIRC Skytrak does not (or barely does) charge while it is powered on. I resolved my problem by letting it charge overnight (I did not turn my computer off that evening) and haven't encountered a battery issue since.

Thanks for the reply, yep, certain there is plenty of battery power. Also should show 3 red lights on the unit when the battery is critically low, which it is not.Comment

I had this issue about a month ago, for me it was related to a bad USB cord. Even though the cord was charging the unit and would connect in direct mode something was wrong with it. Changed to a different cord I had lying around and no more issues.Comment
