SkyTrak app working on my iPhone 6 Plus

Luv2Golf, I'm not interested in upgrading my iPhone to use ST, that's why I'm asking about the delay. I know it will be better on the iPhone 6, but I'm asking how it is on the 5, so I can determine if it's worth it for me - as there's no way I'm hauling my iPad to the range!

DougieMan - is there any way to get that data over to the iPad for viewing later? Is the data saved to an account at ST (or SkyGolf) for later viewing, and is there a charge for using that storage, and/or pulling that data?Originally posted by DougieMn View Post
Downloaded the app onto my 5s and was pleasantly surprised as to how it worked, but yes the data is small! I didn't hook up to the projector but will do at a later time and see if that slows the delay. I didn't think the delay was bad at all, most of the time the shot was rendered before I could place the ball back onto the laser dot. Good things seem to be coming and hopefully Sim soon!
Just curious, seems that would be the best way to handle it, so I can record it on iPhone, then come home and look at it on my iPad.

I just pulled up my SkyGolf360 account this morning. The swings made while trying out the App on the Iphone 5S all showed up on 360. That's the first I've been able to synch the SkyTrak with the 360 account since very early on(Had a few swings synch when it first arrived) with the SkyTrak. I gave up on the data issue long ago but now it seems to be working for me, at least from the Iphone and have yet to use the Ipad with 1.9 but will do so soon and would expect the same synch success.Originally posted by Brettster View Post

It seems that the frustrations from being initial owners of the unit are being addressed and we are moving although at a snails pace in the right direction. Bring on the Sim's and better practice utilities and I'll be one happy camper.

Trust me, with a proper setup the ipad is the way to go. I have an iphone 6 and it's hard to read. I bought an ipad mini 2 with retina and was going to sell it now that I can use my iphone. Well after a range session, 1/2 way through I turned off my phone, went to my truck, got the ipad and tripod and much better. Just my 2 cents. Maybe when you buy a skytrak you can see for yourself.Originally posted by Brettster View Post

Nahhhh, I can't see hauling my iPad to the range, I have to walk 1/2 out on the course to get to the range, and I'm not about to haul my iPad out there to record shots. What I'm looking for is a way I can record that data with my iPhone, and then come home later and look at it on my iPad - shouldn't be a big deal, I want to know if it can be done, and what the cost is to do it?Originally posted by luv2golf View Post

You wont bring the ipad, but you'll carry the $2k bulkier/heavier skytrak????
I used my wifes iphone 6 and i agree, using the ipad is way better. Much easier to read.

It is great that we have the Iphone option. But for me at the range it was Hit a shot, while waiting for the Iphone 5 to register, change glasses. See that I didn't check the right club button. Try to change the club through the protective screen, after 3 shots, ask the guy next to me to watch my equipment while I go get my Ipad.

anyone else notice a flickering on the left side in the Skytrak app(v1.9.1) on the iPhone 6? Only happens when you click on the red circle in the upper right had side of the app.

Is there any chance someone could post a short video of the delay on the iPhone 5? Is it really 15 seconds? That sounds like a little much. I was going to wait until TGC was integrated and just build a PC for it, but I might go ahead and pull the trigger if I could hit balls using my iPhone 5 until then. I'm one of the weirdos that doesn't own an iPad.
