My skytrak app shuts down when I plug it into my receiver/projector. Any ideas what may be causing it. The delay is a pain as well. I'm going to try a brand new iPad mini tomorrow and see if I have the same issue. I may also try connecting directly to the projector.

I have the same problem and I have an iPad Air2. Used to work fine a few months ago. No idea when the problem started and if it's related to tha Skytrak app or iOS changes. But I do agree it's annoying. If I had to guess it's related to how Skytak handles the changed resolution. The app can't manage the dynamic switch and shuts down to re-init the draw surface.

That's odd. Maybe I've just never tried to plug/unplug mid-session recently, but I don't ever remember any crashes and I know that we hotplugged many times at the Wyndham championship. The iPad shouldn't be changing any resolution...it's the TV/projector that has to accommodate for the input. Let me play around with it.

Just to be clear. In my setup the projector is always connected to the ipad and the ipad is never used for anything else.
So it's all connected all the time. But I don't always turn the projector on. So when the projector is turned on while the app is running. The app shuts down.
Restart the app and it all works fine. That was not the case back in February when I first started to use the setup and all the hardware has been the same all along.
